MR ROBERT GOURLAY Robert C Gourlay, B.App.Sc., M.App.Sc. Company Director and Environmental Scientist Interests: Innovations in resource sustainability. Experience: Rob is the Managing Director of Orbtek Pty Ltd and a principal environmental scientist specialising in resource assessment and management. This includes 23 years consultancy background in policy development, corporate planning, business analysis and program evaluation, information system's design and resource management in the public sector. He presently co-leads an environmental consultancy company, Environmental Research and Information Consortium Pty Ltd (ERIC). ERIC is a leader and award winner in natural resource R&D, innovation and application of new techniques in the use of remotely sensed data in resource mapping for environmental, economic and social assessment. Rob has received a number of awards and honours for research and development and innovation for environmental information technologies, particularly in the application of geophysical data for mapping salinity.
